Do you ever stop to remember holidays past when you were a child? Because most of us have commonality in age, I wanted to remind you of some of the celebrations past, that at the time, we had no idea would become such sweet memories!

For smaller towns and rural America, “going to town” only happened once a week. Catalogs became the efficient way to show all kinds of merchandise and let people order through the mail. Were you a fan of the show "24?" A groundbreaking TV show, it followed 24 consecutive hours with a national crisis, starred Keifer Sutherland and could keep you on the edge of your seat every week.

 

Jack Bauer: I know what it's like to feel like it's never going to end. 

 

The show has been off the air for a few years, but every once in a while, I think of Jack Bauer. Sure, Keifer Sutherland is not "hard on the eyes" but it was his character, Jack Bauer's ability to never quit no matter what, that I think about.  In the most dire situations, he kept his eyes on the goal; to save America from some type of horrible situation that was about to happen.
